PREVIEW ONE BLUE SOUTH ROUND FIFTEEN

Preview One Blue South Round 15:
Following my dismal picks (two from four) for last Saturday (although the weather did play a part), I am confident my selections this week are on the ball; one thing is guaranteed Mossies will establish a insurmountable lead that will make the rest of the season for the balance of the sides purely academic.

Victoria Park v Carlisle Lathlain

Victoria Park will host Carlisle Lathlain, the Reds didn’t enjoy the conditions at Mosman Park last Saturday, they will settle back in familiar surroundings for this contest. Carlisle lost to Melville last week and will be looking for some important points in this game.

Victoria Park sits fifth on the table however Hilton Park has a game in hand; V.P would be looking for a return to the winning form of a few weeks ago. Carlisle are now second last and it is now crunch time for them, a win is essential the Reds will win this contest as they did at Carlisle in the first round
the result Victoria Park 7 / 1.

East Fremantle v Mosman Park

Mosman Park travel to East Fremantle to take on the cellar dwellers.

Mossies were stung into action last Saturday to record a 7 – 1 result, and East Fremantle had the weekend off courtesy of the Australian Sides competition.
Mossies sit on top of the table while the Blue and Whites are battling for survival, East Fremantle are now faced with a huge task to save themselves from relegation while Mossies boast one of the strongest combinations in this division.

The Park will be looking to put the margin between themselves and the rest of the competition as unassailable as possible, they have strong rinks across green and will win this contest in a canter
the result will be Mosman Park 7 / 1.

Melville v Rockingham

Melville play host to Rockingham six versus seven on the table, in the first round the Rocky boys were too strong picking up seven and a half against Melville, this time around the Magic will be looking to even up the books.

Melville in the last few weeks are starting to show the form that they are capable off; they sit outside the relegation zone but will want to improve on this position. Rockingham will be on the road for the second week and will be looking to erase last Saturdays disappointing result in Midland. they will have some of the best greens in Perth to play on and will come to terms with that fairly quickly, this promises to be a close encounter but the Magic with some momentum will triumph on the day
the result will be Melville 6 / 2.

Manning Eagles v Midland Morrison

Midland Morrison will visit the Eagles nest hoping to string wins together they sit eighth on the table while Manning are third courtesy of a superb victory last week over Spearwood.

Viv Andrews Manning Eagles (pictured) has been a consistent performer for the Eagles over the years

Manning are now showing strong form that was eluding them earlier in the season, while Midland are finding it difficult to get back to back victories. For the Eagles James Jaworski is the stand out skipper his ten straight wins earns him that right, his side provides him with a strong front end and he and Peter Ker provide the finish.
Midland will have no one to match this combination, the other Manning rinks are working well together and they appear well balanced Midland on the other hand work hard but lack the flair of the home side the result will be a strong win to the Eagles 8 / 0.
