Murray's Review on One Blue North.
Round Four

November 29, 2005

Well 5 out of 5 isn't bad. Where was Dellar when I needed him.

GAME OF THE DAY

Sorrento vs Cambridge -game was a beauty with it coming down to the 84th end.In fact Murray vs Cannon had only played 17 ends when all other rinks were off with the aggregate tied.

Gary Dennis (former State Amatuer Footballer and Association Fairest and Best) 40 years and Michael Murray 21 years consistently drawing close really helped in the final outcome with the the Swans getting four shots on the last two ends to win by five.

Osborne Park V Doubleview Ossy Park win as I thought they would, however it was a close call winning the aggregate by 3 shots. The big performer was Doug Eaton, who returned to the blue side and came home with a 28/17 win over the Kevin Stevens led rink.
Eddie Johnson, a top line skip did best for Doubleview with a handy 22/12 win over Dante Mariani.
Jimmy Bell (pictured) a great competitor and always enjoys his game.

Morrison Park V Bedford
Morrison Park defeat Bedford in a cliff (Graybrook) hanger.
Macca Nattalotto does the chatter, Cliff Graybrook does the clatter. Morrison Park owe their win to the top rink in One Blue, T. Nattalotto (skip), hall, Hutchinson, Erceg. They had Cliff Graybrook and his rink 22/3 going into the last end. They had winners in all positions with a great display.

Macca Nattalotto (pictured) has good reason to smile, big winner against Bedford and leading skipper in One Blue North

All other Bedford rinks won to get three points. Dave Scott continues to impress while Dave Crook and his boys have also been good.
Peter Hunter (skip) Nigel Minchin, Peter Healy and Frank Priest bought to an end, the winning run of the previously undefeated rink of the very promising Steve Wattleworth with a 21/15 win.

Bassendean V Sportsmen's Bassendean defeat Sportsmen's in a cake walk to get the 8 points for the win. John Lynch came home with the biggest win 31/15 against Tony Porter. Sharky McDonald who is a very promising player and his rink for Sporties put in a good show as did Craig Greenhalgh who lost by two shots.

Dalkeith V Nollamara Well this the result we expected as Nollamara are on struggle street, however there was a couple of rinks that really battled it out for Nollamara, the rink of Wardrop, West Higgs and Scott, losing to Marko Krajancic 18/15 and that is a great effort, as was that of Brian Sawle who lost by 5 shots to Tony Skoric.
Best for Dalkeith was Dinko Golem with a 31/16 win against W. Hinge
