VICTORIA PARK CRASH
Kardinya 89 (6.5) def Victoria Park 75 (1.5)
Due to interstate series Victoria Park and Kardinya played last Sunday. Victoria Park has now extended their losing run to three with State skipper Graeme Wishart again being beaten by a healthy margin of 9 by Ian Hastings. Jeff Mitchell pulled off a draw against Tony Cocodis whilst Steve Withers fell in by one shot against John Smith.
Scarborough vs Gosnells
This is a vitally important game for both clubs. I think they will realise that the loser will find relegation so much harder to avoid.
On one hand we have the resurgent Scarborough who behind Dalkeith/Nedlands have been the form team of the competition over the past five weeks against a side that is talented but really struggling.
My Tip Scarborough
South Perth vs Safety Bay
With the defeat last Sunday of Victoria Park this gives South Perth a wonderful opportunity to make a claim for second spot and the double chance that goes with it.
Safety Bay is another team that has enough good players to win most matches but I am going for the “Millers” in this one.
My Tip South Perth
Thornlie vs Warwick
Thornlie will be very determined after being humiliated last week by South Perth. They have good all round strength and whilst Warwick are always competitive they must be worried about the form of the Allan Hogarth led rink. Early in the season Allan was the shining beacon but of late has suffered some very heavy defeats.
