----------------------------- THE WEEKEND OF TRUTH

Even with Gosnells upsetting South Perth 6/83 – 2/79 last Sunday, I think the final four and the teams to be relegated will be decided in the penultimate round on Saturday.

Below is the correct premiership table (there were errors in the Sunday Times table last week).

Gosnells vs Warwick

Gosnells form has been very good when it counted most and have steered themselves well away from relegation.
Warwick’s big chance is that Gosnells may rest on their laurels allowing them to cause an upset and keep their faint hopes alive of surviving relegation. However winning form is good form and it is hard to pick against Gosnells down at the railway track.

My tip: Gosnells

Safety Bay vs Victoria Park

Safety Bay at home are always a trick test particularly if the see breeze is in. However I think Victoria Park has the class and more importantly the determination to finish the season off in winning form.

My tip: Victoria Park

Scarborough vs Kardinya
This is the last roll of the dice for the “seagulls” as a defeat will surely see them demoted. On the other hand a Kardinya victory gives them a well deserved finals berth.

Mt tip: Kardinya

South Perth vs Yokine
I think South Perth will win and win well to also wrap up their finals spot. Despite being beaten by Gosnells I see South Perth as Dalkeith/Nedlands major threat for that second promotion next season.
I think Yokine will survive in this division but mainly through good fortune than good play.

My tip: South Perth

Thornlie vs Dalkeith/Nedlands
Thornlie have been very disappointing in the latter half of the year whilst Dalkeith have been less than brilliant.
However, I am sure Marko Krajancic will have his player’s minds on the job as a defeat could see them slip to third.

My Tip: Dalkeith/Nedlands
