ONE WHITE REVIEW
------------------------GOSNELLS THE BIG WINNERS
After this weekend round of fixtures is complete we see that Gosnells is the big winner. Out of form and apparently headed towards demotion they thrashed the very much in-form Scarborough 8-0 in what is the start of games that could be considered elimination finals.
Dalkeith/Nedlands have given themselves a handy six shot buffer at the head of the table whilst South Perth are now in serious contention for a top two finish.

YOKINE STILL IN HOT WATER
As a result of the 1-7 loss to top side Dalkeith, Yokine find them in a very perilous position with only 5 rounds to be played. They are only 1 point away from relegation and with an inferior percentage to Scarborough they must now be genuinely worried.
A drop to One Blue is like a life sentence. Unless you finish on top you could be there for many years unless you go to second division.
Dalkeith are moving along nicely but so were Victoria Park only three short weeks ago. Mark Krajancic was the big winner again for Dalkeith with a 22-14 result over the talented Michael Yates.

MILLERS SERVE NOTICE
South Perth “Millers” have served proper notice that they intend to challenge for a top two finish. Their big challenge is coming in Rounds 15 & 16 when they play Victoria Park & Dalkeith. Those games will be rippers. Yesterday Keith Howieson again proved to be a strong force in the competition with a 22-9 win over David Beaumont.
Safety Bay once nearly unbeatable at home have now dropped their last two and are far from safe from relegation.

GOSNELLS GORGE ON GULLS
Gosnells did themselves a power of good in avoiding relegation with a comprehensive 8-0 thrashing of the Scarborough “Seagulls” down at the beach. This result was unexpected as Scarborough’s recent form had been excellent whilst Gosnells would have to accept that their own form had been less than good.
The loss for Scarborough puts them back into the relegation zone whilst it eases the burden on Gosnells without making them completely safe.
Thornlie 94 (7) def Warwick 52 (1)
RAVENS OUTCLASS MAGPIES
As expected Thornlie “Ravens” bounced back from last week’s dismal performance to completely outplay the Warwick “Magpies”. Nick Regan was the architect with a 31-10 mauling of the Evan O’Sullivan rink.
Glynn Vaughan Thornlie (pictured) great recruit for Thornlie this year
In punting terms Thornlie would be equal 3rd favourite to win the premiership whilst Warwick would be a clear favourite to be demoted. That having been said the one thing I do know about bowls is that there are no certainties just probabilities.
Kardinya 89 (6.5) def Victoria Park 75 (1.5)
VICTORIA PARK CRASH
Due to interstate series Victoria Park and Kardinya played last Sunday. Victoria Park has now extended their losing run to three with State skipper Graeme Wishart again being beaten by a healthy margin of 9 by Ian Hastings. Jeff Mitchell pulled off a draw against Tony Cocodis whilst Steve Withers fell in by one shot against John Smith.
