Mai Norriss (skip) & Colleen Robinson have won the ladies club pairs today. To beat the heat they started earlier at 9 A.M. & finished at 12 noon ....16 ends & scores were 23 to 16 against Jan Collins & Thea Mete.

Mai has been skipper all the way thru & studied the head intently nearly every end with Colleen for the best strategy.

Jan Collins is a formidable opponent & can play upshots with great success.(like brother 'Rowdy') However Mai & Colleen always had shots in the head and then made sure to have 'catchers' in position & it all paid off!
