Preview round One Blue North

PREVIEW ONE BLUE NORTH

A most interesting line up for 1 Blue North this season. The promoted teams, Morley and Wanneroo’s number two sides, together with the demoted teams from 1 White, North Beach and Innaloo join with the teams that finished 2nd to 7th last season in this colour.

That finishing order being, Osborne Park (2), Sorrento, Cambridge (2), Bassendean, Bedford (2) and Doubleview (2), with only 10 points separating these teams at the conclusion of round 18.

Saturday round 1.
Sorrento V Morley Sorrento to win with the home advantage over the promoted Morley team North

Beach V Bassendean
Bassendean should prove too strong for a North Beach team that has lost several players

Wanneroo V Bedford

Wanneroo gained promotion ahead of Stirling last season and I would expect with good players left out of their premier league, they should defeat Bedford at home

Cambridge V Osborne Park
Osborne Park has done better in the off season and could defeat Cambridge on the mat

Doubleview V Innaloo
Doubleview have gained a couple of players and will defeat Innaloo at home

Selections:
Sorrento, Bassendean, Wanneroo, Osborne Park, Doubleview

SUNDAY ROUND TWO
Innaloo V North Beach
I select North Beach to win this battle in the fight to miss out on the wooden spoon

Morley V Wanneroo
Wanneroo to defeat Morley because of their depth

Osborne Park V Doubleview
A tight game expected with Osborne Park to win on their home green

Bedford V Cambridge
Bedford to win at home

Bassendean V Sorrento
Bassendean at home to have a narrow victory

Selections:
North Beach, Wanneroo, Osborne Park, Bedford, Bassendean

Predicted finish for season
1 Osborne Park 2 Wanneroo 3 Doubleview 4 Bedford 5 Bassendean 6 Cambridge 7 Sorrento 8 Morley 9 North Beach 10 Innaloo
