Review One Blue North Round 3

Cambridge 92 (6½) d Morley 66 (1½)
A comfortable win to Cambridge at home to record their first victory for the season with John Dawson’s rink showing the way winning by 20 shots. Morley will be looking forward to returning to their home greens for their game against Doubleview. (Apart from skipper Haley who has won both games away).

Sorrento 103 (8) d Wanneroo 44 (0)
Neil Adams’ after a 20 shot victory remains undefeated, and Alan Anderson win by 16 shots, were the big winners to have Sorrento in 2nd position behind Bassendean, who they lost to by only 1 shot at Bassendean.

They must fancy their chances for the season. Wanneroo after their initial win at home have been woeful playing away in the last two games.

Doubleview 77 (7) d Bedford 72 (1)
All the games were close with Adi Mayer recording a victory by 4 shots over the Views Bomber Haring’s team. (The rink I gave the big wrap about) Ken Screech had the equal best win by 4 shots also. The 7 points has kept Doubleview in the top four, and left Bedford Bulls with some work to do

North Beach 81 (6) d Osborne Park 75 (2)
The Beach skippers, Werndley and John Coles had decisive winning margins to outscore the winning Osborne skippers, Brendon Edwards and Doug Eaton. This game indicates North Beach don’t intend to be one of the easy-beats of One Blue North.

Bassendean 92 (7) d Innaloo 74 (1)
Bassendean are now the only undefeated team following a relatively easy draw and successive games at home.
John Lynch led his rink to a 21 shot victory. Greg Young recorded his second victory in three games for Innaloo, with Andrew Tennant playing well as his third.
